A New Home for SPCA

For the first time in the history of Stone County and the City of Wiggins the SPCA has a permanent home. On July 27th  2012 the SPCA purchased the property located at 1989 Hwy 26 just outside of the City of Wiggins County limits. The five acre property has a two room bedroom home located on it which will be converted into a shelter. There is much to be done to get the property ready to house animals. We anticipate a  grand opening to the public in January 2014. If you are interested in helping with getting the shelter ready to open please call Katie Stonnington at 601-270-7048. The shelter is in need of many items to help make the opening a possible if you have any of the following items that are new or lightly used that you would like to donate please let us know and pick up or drop off can be arranged:

·         Dog and cat crates and kennels

·         Cleaning supplies

·         Lawn mowers, weed eaters

·         Dog houses and bedding
